Hello!

My name is Kilee McAtee. For seven years, I have been working in journalism, a field I am extremely passionate about. Never before, though, have I had the opportunity to research something I care about more than wildlife conservation. I hope you will join me in this semester-long project to learn more about the species facing extinction in the beautiful state of Maine.

This Project

The aim of this semester-long project is to document and teach about the different threatened and endangered species in the state of Maine. Through the course of this semester, I will be doing my research by consulting and featuring experts in conservation in the hopes to bring more attention to some of Maine's most vulnerable residents.
